A mix of 1 and 4! I like the general design for #1 but I'd rather it had the short sleeves that #4 has.
If you make the jacket so big and then you give him full-lenght tight trousers that end within the trainers, it'll make his figure look quite feminine and girly, almost as if he was wearing a very baggy dress. That's why I opt for the short trousers, besides it gives me a better impression altogether.
I decided not to vote. Instead, I'll comment on what I feel. XD
To be honest, I'm okay with his current design. But if you feel it needs to be changed, I guess I'll lend my observations and likes.
First off, based on the refs you gave us, to me all the ones with green on the collar/hood make him look younger. More boyish like. The ones with all black don't have alot of color variation, though. Which isn't a bad thing, unless that's what you want.
#1: like I said, the green makes him look a little bit younger. That, coupled with the shorts, make him seem very young indeed!
#2: Not much to say on this one that hasn't been already. Probably my least favorite.
#3: I like this one because of his rolled up sleeves. And gloves! I love giving charcters gloves. One of my top three.
#4: This one is good because there is more color to it. It has a lighter feel to it than 3, but otherwise is the same. Again, I like the rolled up sleeves and gloves. Also one of top three.
#5: I like the idea and the hood, but I'm used to Vance's upturned collar. He seems more like regular kids these days with the hood.Street style, or something like that.
#6: Same as 5, but lighter feel with the color scheme. Last of top three.
